It’s almost time to lace up your sneakers and move your feet before you eat... wherever you are!
The 14th annual Huntington Turkey Trot will be a virtual race, so participants can stay socially distant by running or walking wherever they are celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday. Despite the challenges 2020 has brought us all, we can still unite in spirit with family, friends, neighbors, and other running/walking enthusiasts of all ages to support Little Victories No-Kill Animal Shelter.
For the 14th straight year, all proceeds from the Huntington Turkey Trot will benefit Little Victories No-kill Animal Shelter.
COVID-19 has forced Little Victories to cancel major fundraisers while the dedicated staff still struggles to provide shelter, vet care, and love for an ever-growing number of homeless pets in need of forever families.
We are determined to carry on the Huntington Turkey Trot tradition of compassion, caring, and support for Little Victories. Please help us help more shelter pets by making this our biggest fundraiser ever!
You can drop off cans or bags of pet food for Little Victories at the t-shirt pickup (more info below).
Race & Registration Info
Registration is $25, and optional t-shirt mailing is available for an additional $5 charge. You must be registered by Tuesday, November 17 for your shirt to be ready by Thanksgiving, so sign up today!
E-Mail us at [email protected] with any questions.
Virtual Race Info
A virtual race gives participants the freedom and flexibility we all need this year! The race will not be limited to the traditional Ritter Park 5k course.
Instead, runners and walkers can enjoy the crisp air and fall colors in any location – even if you or your family will not be celebrating Thanksgiving in the Huntington area.
Participants are also not limited to a set start time. You can complete the 5K within a one-week timeframe and upload your results to our tracking site.
We are also offering masked, socially distant local pick-up or mailing options for the ever-popular Huntington Turkey Trot long-sleeved t-shirts!
If you registered on or before November 17, local t-shirt pickup will be at 506 9th Avenue, Huntington, 25701 on the dates listed below. Participants can also drop off cans or bags of pet food for Little Victories during those times.
- Tuesday, November 24th: 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM
- Wednesday, November 25th: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Awards & Prizes
We will still do age category prizes to be announced on December 4 based on results uploaded by 11:59 p.m. on December 3. We will also do a prize for largest family participating (must be designated as one family name).
